Unique not only in pattern, Malayer rugs are amongst the few rugs handmade by individual weavers. Each started by dying their wool before designing and weaving their one-of-a-kind pattern, finding inspiration from their surrounding neighbors. Their intimate beginnings, bold borders and all-over patterns have made them some of the most desired rugs today.
Atlas I & II have been antique washed, softening the colors to suit todays modern home. Abrash details, both striated and gradual, can be seen throughout the length of the runners.
